Bug Necklaces help keep many biting insects away without poisoning the wearer or the environment with chemicals. The Black Fly/Deer Fly and Mosquito/Horse Fly necklaces are programmed for a specific geographical region. The Mosquitoes Anywhere, No-See-Ums and Biting Midges, and Tick necklaces are effective in any geographical area.
For those concerned about Dengue Fever, Malaria, and other mosquito-borne, biting fly-borne, or tick-borne diseases, the appropriate Bug Necklaces can help prevent the bites that may lead to those illnesses. They are as effective as any other bug repellent, but without the chemicals.
I can’t promise you’ll be bite-free (though many find this to be true), but wearing the necklaces keeps bites from these pests to a minimum. Wearers observe that even if they get bitten with the necklace on, the bites seem to swell less, itch less, and disappear more quickly. And if they get bitten when they're not wearing the necklace, they put it on afterwards to help stop the reaction.
